 Transparency legislation

Euronav NV hereby discloses information concerning the notification tresholds together with figures related to the capital and the number of securities to which voting rights are attached in accordance with the provisions of the Law of 2 May 2007 and the Royal Decree of 14 February 2008 on "disclosure of major Shareholdings" in issuers whose shares are admited to trading on a regulated market.

TRESHOLDS CONCERNING THE TRANSPARENCY LEGISLATION

According to Article 14 of the Articles of Association of Euronav NV, the provisions apply to the legal tresholds of 5% and of each multiple 5%. In other words, if a shareholder reaches a stockholding position of 5% or a multiple of 5%, he must follow the procedure set out below. He must also report a change of position for every multiple of 5% in its total holding.

INFORMATION CONCERNING THE TRANSPARENCY LEGISLATION

Detailed information can be found in the Extract from the Guide to the Transparency Legislation CBFA_2008_16 of 8 July 2008 (available from the website of the Banking, Finance and Insurance Commission (CBFA):
www.cbfa.be/eng/gv/ah/circ/pdf/cbfa_2008_16.pdf). For the notifications the CBFA recommends the use of its standard form TR-1 BE (also available from the CBFA website: www.cbfa.be/eng/gv/ah/circ/pdf/TR-1be.xls).

The notifications should be transmitted to both Euronav NV and the CBFA. The CBFA recommends transmitting the notifications first electronically, to the e-mail address trp.fin@cbfa.be, and subsequently - for reasons of legal certainty - by fax to n° +32 2 220 59 12.
